Formed in 1997, The Marinucci Trio has enjoyed success playing throughout Australia and abroad. The band is highly versatile, performing everywhere from festivals and dedicated jazz venues to large corporate functions and weddings. In 1999 The Marinucci Trio undertook a successful European tour, and appeared twice on Channel Seven's Denise show.

The Marinucci Trio offers an extensive repertoire of well-known jazz standards and vocals made popular by such performers as Frank Sinatra, Chet Baker and Harry Connick Jr. From the popular show songs of the 1930-50s to the bossa nova of the 1950-60s, as far back as the swing era of the Ellington and Basie big bands, right up to the groove jazz of the 1990s, and all that’s good in between.

The trio have an intimate style, embodying all that’s cool about jazz. They can step up to perform in a concert situation, highlight the most formal of occasions, or supply a sublime, unobtrusive soundtrack which adds class and atmosphere to any event.
