André Gonçalves, singer, bass and acoustic guitar player has been working, professionally, for twenty two years performing his show with his warm voice and a very good sense of humor, great qualities that make the difference at Rio’s night life.
Self taught musician, he has never been to a Music School or similar, and because of this, he has developed two of the most important things for being a good musician: listening and discipline.
He’s been playing in all good places with live music in Rio, such as Vinícius Show Bar, Zeppelin, Jazzmania, Rio Othon Hotel (Skylab Bar), and also in many shoppings centers in Rio and surrounding cities.
By himself or playing with famous brazilian singers as Cláudia Telles, Billy Blanco, Aretha Marcos, Maria Creuza and so many others, he’s always ready to do the best of entertainment and a really show of rythm and personality.
BOSSA NOVA: His speciality. With its unforgettable songs - like Girl of Ipanema, Desafinado, Wave - he tells many very interesting stories and makes the connection between this wonderful music style and the amazing night life of Rio de Janeiro.
